BMW E30 E36 Compact Rear Control Arm Reinforcement

This E30 E36 Compact rear control arm reinforcement makes the rear control arms of your BMW E30 or E36 Compact considerably stronger. On a standard car the arm is perfectly fine, but in drifting, rallying and on track days it has to cope with forces it was never made for.

The kit is designed to strengthen the control arms and prevent damage. Ideally, weld it on before you refit the control arms; during a build they are often off the car anyway. The panels are laser-cut from 3 to 5 mm thick S355 steel and folded on CNC press brakes.

Fitting and delivery

The reinforcements are welded onto the control arms. Preferably do this with the arms removed from the car, so you can weld all the way round and then treat everything properly against rust. Have the work carried out by an experienced welder. Delivery time is 1 to 2 days.
