BMW E36 Coupé Front Chassis Reinforcement

This E36 Coupé chassis reinforcement strengthens and stiffens the front apron and the inner sections of the front wings on your BMW E36 Coupé. That part of the body is left untouched even by an extensive roll cage, yet it is exactly where the suspension forces enter.

The parts are designed so that you can easily adapt them to the shape of your own bodyshell, which after thirty years almost always deviates slightly from the factory dimensions. The panels are cut and folded from 3 mm thick S355 steel. At 7.3 kg, this is the heaviest version in this range.

Fitting and delivery

The reinforcements are welded into the bodyshell. Dry-fit them first and bend them slightly where necessary. Have the welding carried out by an experienced welder and then protect the seams against rust. Please note: the example photos were taken on an E36 saloon, but this kit is for the Coupé. Delivery time is 1 to 2 days.

Does the kit need to be welded?

Yes, the parts are welded into the bodyshell. Have this done by an experienced welder.
