BMW E46 Front Strut Tower Reinforcement

This E46 strut tower reinforcement prevents the front strut towers of your BMW E46 from cracking. After twenty years and a few hundred thousand kilometres, that panelwork is fatigued, and with stiff suspension or track use it soon gives way.

The reinforcements are fitted as an extra plate under the original strut tower, in other words under the upper shock absorber mounting. They are laser-cut from 3 mm thick S355 steel, formed on CNC press brakes and then galvanised so that they do not rust.

Fitting and delivery

Remove the upper shock absorber mounting and place the reinforcement under the original strut tower as an extra plate. Then reassemble everything. If you are fitting new shock absorbers or a coilover kit anyway, this is the ideal moment to do it at the same time. Delivery time is 1 to 2 days.
