Fitting and delivery

The kit is vehicle-specific and replaces the original dampers and springs. We recommend having it fitted by an experienced mechanic. On some cars the pillowball top mount at the front requires a small modification to the upper mounting; if in doubt, contact us. After adjusting the ride height, have the wheel alignment set again, because camber and toe change as well. The delivery time is 1 to 2 weeks as long as the manufacturer has stock. The BR has a linear piston and is made for the road with the occasional track day; the DS has a digressive piston that damps more firmly at slow body movements and is more track-focused. For this AE86 both have 6/4.5 kg/mm, 30 clicks and pillowball top mounts at the front. If you mainly drive on the road, the BR is the obvious choice.

Does the BC Racing BR coilover kit with spindle fit every Toyota Corolla AE86?

No, only the AE86 with rear-wheel drive from 1983 to 1987 in the version with spindle. BC Racing does not list any body styles as exceptions for this kit. For the AE86 without spindle there is a separate kit with part number C-211-BR-RA.
