The BC Racing DS coilover kit M3 M4 F80 5-bolt (part number I-68-DS-DN) is a coilover kit adjustable in height and damping, also simply called a coilover, for the BMW M3 F80 and M4 F82 with rear-wheel drive and front top mounts with 5 bolts, model years 2014 to 2020. The spring rate is 6 kg/mm front and 12 kg/mm rear.

If you regularly take an M3 F80 or M4 F82 on track, the DS series from BC Racing gives you a kit tuned for exactly that. The digressive piston damps extra firmly in the low speed range up to around 50 mm/s, where the body movements under braking and turn-in take place.

The DS has 30 clicks of damping adjustment, a satin chrome damper body, the BC Racing concave lower lock ring and a ride height that is adjustable independently of the spring preload. This version fits cars on which the front top mount is secured with 5 bolts.

Fitting and delivery

The kit is vehicle-specific and replaces the original dampers and springs. We recommend having it fitted by an experienced mechanic. Check beforehand whether your car has a 5-bolt front top mount, and have the wheel alignment reset after setting the ride height. The delivery time is 1 to 2 weeks as long as the manufacturer has stock.
