The BC Racing ER coilover kit Chaser JZX100 (part number C-07-ER) is a coilover kit adjustable in height and damping, also simply called a coilover, for the Toyota Chaser JZX90 and JZX100 with rear-wheel drive. The spring rate is 13 kg/mm front and 6.5 kg/mm rear.

The ER series is the 2-way coilover kit from BC Racing for serious track and competition use. Each damper is a monotube with double piston and external reservoir, and you set compression and rebound independently of each other, each in 30 clicks.

For a Chaser that is often driven on track or in competition, that gives more tuning scope than a 1-way kit: for example, you set the rebound firmer without the compression changing with it. With 13 kg/mm front and 6.5 kg/mm rear, the springs of this kit are stiffer than those of the BR, DS and ZX for this car.

Fitting and delivery

The kit is vehicle-specific and replaces the original dampers and springs. We recommend having it fitted by an experienced mechanic. A mechanic who has fitted reservoir dampers before is a plus. Afterwards, have the wheel alignment set. The delivery time is 1 to 2 weeks as long as the manufacturer has stock. If the kit is temporarily sold out at the manufacturer, you can still order and we will let you know when it is in.

What is the difference between the BC Racing ER and ZX coilover kit for the Toyota Chaser JZX100?

The ER is 2-way adjustable, the ZX 3-way. With the ER you set compression and rebound each in 30 clicks; with the ZX you adjust compression separately for low speed (20 clicks) and high speed (12 clicks) and rebound in 30 clicks. For the Chaser, the ER coilover kit Chaser JZX100 has 13/6.5 kg/mm springs and the ZX 11/5.5 kg/mm.

Can I get the BC Racing ER coilover kit for the Toyota Chaser with different springs?

Not as standard: BC Racing supplies this kit with 13 kg/mm front and 6.5 kg/mm rear. If you want a different spring rate, contact us and we will look into the options and the delivery time for you.

Can I use the BC Racing ER coilover kit C-07-ER on a Toyota Mark II, Cresta or JZX110?

Not on the JZX110, and on the Mark II and Cresta only after checking. BC Racing UK only releases this kit for the Toyota Chaser JZX100 and JZX90 with rear-wheel drive, so not for the JZX110. If you drive a Mark II or Cresta on the same platform, contact us to confirm the fitment.
