The BC Racing ER coilover kit RX-7 FD (part number N-02-ER) is a coilover kit adjustable in height and damping, also simply called a coilover, for the Mazda RX-7 FD3S, model years 1991 to 2002. The spring rate is 12 kg/mm front and 9 kg/mm rear.
The ER series is the 2-way adjustable coilover kit from BC Racing with external reservoir, made for an RX-7 FD that is used seriously on track or in competition. Here you adjust compression and rebound independently of each other, each in 30 clicks.
Each damper is a monotube with a twin piston and an external reservoir, filled with fully synthetic oil with an ultra-high viscosity index. The digressive damping keeps the body tight at slow movements. With 12 kg/mm front and 9 kg/mm rear, the springs are stiffer than on the BR and DS kits for the FD.
