The MTS A6 C5 is a height-adjustable coilover kit from MTS Technik for the Audi A6 C5, Volkswagen Passat B5/B5.5 and Skoda Superb 1, model years 1996 to 2008. Street is the standard setup from MTS Technik: a good balance between comfort and firmness, for daily use and the occasional track day or drift day.

On the Inox version, the damper bodies are made of stainless steel, so road salt and moisture don’t stand a chance.

Fitting and delivery

The MTS A6 C5 replaces the original dampers and springs and fits on the original mounting points.

• The stated lowering applies relative to the standard suspension. If the car has a factory sport suspension, the lowering will be smaller.
• When fitting, check the clearance between tyre or wheel and the strut: at least 5 mm. If it is less, use approved wheel spacers.
• Tip for adjusting the rear: remove the height adjuster, set the spring seat to the new position and refit the adjuster.
• After lowering, have the wheel alignment checked, because camber and toe change as well.

No. The MTS A6 C5 is not suitable for the four-wheel-drive versions. MTS Technik has separate sets for that.
