Description
The MTS Street Golf 2 Inox is a height-adjustable coilover kit from MTS Technik for the Volkswagen Golf 2/3/4 / Jetta 2 / Vento / Corrado and Seat Toledo 1L, model years 1983 to 2002. Street is the standard setup from MTS Technik: a good balance between comfort and firmness, for daily use and the occasional track day or drift day.
On the Inox version, the damper bodies are made of stainless steel, so road salt and moisture don’t stand a chance.

Fitting and delivery
The MTS Street Golf 2 Inox replaces the original dampers and springs and fits on the original mounting points.
- The stated lowering applies relative to the standard suspension. If the car has a factory sport suspension, the lowering will be smaller.
- When fitting, check the clearance between tyre or wheel and the strut: at least 5 mm. If it is less, use approved wheel spacers.
- After fitting the MTS Street Golf 2 Inox, have the wheel alignment checked, because camber and toe change as well.
Delivery: 4 to 7 working days while manufacturer stock lasts.
The MTS Street Golf 2 Inox combines stainless steel damper bodies, Eibach springs of 60 N/mm and up to 80 mm of lowering for the Volkswagen Golf 2/3/4 / Jetta 2 / Vento / Corrado and Seat Toledo 1L.
Why choose the MTS Street Golf 2 Inox?
With the MTS Street Golf 2 Inox you choose the setup MTS Technik itself recommends as standard: enough lowering for a tight stance, and a character that doesn’t become tiring on the road. If you also drive in winter or the car is parked outside, the Inox version pays for itself: stainless steel doesn’t rust, so the thread of the height adjustment doesn’t seize up. If you mainly drive in summer, the Gold version is a more affordable alternative.
Frequently asked questions
Does this kit also fit a four-wheel-drive (4Motion or 4Drive) version?
No. The MTS Street Golf 2 Inox is not suitable for the four-wheel-drive versions. MTS Technik has separate sets for that.
What is the difference between Comfort, Street and Stance?
All versions use the same dampers; the difference lies in the Eibach springs and the lowering range: Comfort (50 N/mm), Street (60 N/mm) and Stance (70 N/mm). Comfort is the softest. Street is the standard. Stance is the firmest and the lowest.
What is the difference between Gold and Inox?
Gold has steel damper bodies with a yellow zinc coating, Inox has stainless steel damper bodies. Inox is more resistant to road salt and moisture and therefore costs more. Otherwise, the kits are identical.
How long does delivery take?
The MTS Street Golf 2 Inox is delivered within 4 to 7 working days as long as the manufacturer has stock.
