The BC Racing ZR coilover kit E90 E92 7/10 (part number I-03-ZR) is a coilover kit adjustable in height and damping, also simply called a coilover, for the BMW 3 Series E90 Sedan and E92 Coupe with rear-wheel drive, excluding the M3, model years 2005 to 2011. The spring rate is 7 kg/mm front and 10 kg/mm rear.

This ZR kit for the BMW E90 and E92 has springs of 7 kg/mm front and 10 kg/mm rear, half a kg/mm stiffer at the front than the 6.5/10 version. The BC Racing part number (I-03-ZR) and the price are the same as those of the 6.5/10 kit.

The dampers have a twin piston and an external reservoir that can go on the body or the damper body, connected with braided steel lines. With 20 clicks of low-speed compression, 12 clicks of high-speed compression and 30 clicks of rebound, you tune the E90 or E92 for each circuit.

Fitting and delivery

This ZR kit is also vehicle-specific and replaces the original dampers and springs. We recommend having the fitting and the positioning of the reservoirs done by an experienced mechanic. BC Racing advises periodic greasing of the RM and ZR series and recommends them less for road use than the BR, DS, ER or ZX. After adjusting ride height and camber, have the wheel alignment set again. The delivery time is 1 to 2 weeks as long as the manufacturer has stock.
