BMW F22 / F23 2 Series V-Maxx Big Brake Kit 365 mm 6-piston

The big brake kit F22 365 mm is the largest V-Maxx brake kit for the BMW 2 Series Coupé F22 and Convertible F23. It consists of 365 mm two-piece brake discs with 6-piston calipers made of forged aluminium, V-Maxx sport brake pads and the vehicle-specific adapters for your original brake hoses.

This kit is made for drivers who want the maximum: versions from 180 to 250 kW, or from 100 to 165 kW with factory-fitted M Sport brakes, on 19 inch wheels or larger. On the track, what you notice most is that the braking behaviour stays the same, even when you put the brakes under heavy load session after session.

V-Maxx Autosport is a Dutch manufacturer. Thanks to the TÜV certificate according to §19.3, you are also allowed to use this kit on public roads.

Fitting and delivery

Fit the big brake kit F22 365 mm according to the V-Maxx fitting instructions; brakes are a safety-critical part. The kit is only suitable for cars with original steering knuckles. Wash the brake kit with a mild soap and never with wheel cleaner, as it attacks the aluminium.

Optional: V-Maxx Steelflex steel braided brake hoses for the front axle with PTFE inner hose and TÜV approval, Ferodo Super Formula brake fluid (500 ml) and a V-Maxx wear indicator set. Delivery time: 4 to 7 days.

The large disc provides extra braking torque and the six pistons a pedal that is easy to modulate. Because the caliper, bracket and bell are made of aluminium, which conducts heat about five times better than steel, the kit also cools down quickly. The directional cooling channels in the disc do the rest, so fade gets much less of a chance.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between the 365 and the 355 mm kit?

Both fit the same versions and have 6-piston calipers. The 365 mm kit has the larger disc and therefore more braking torque, but it requires wheels of at least 19 inch. The 355 mm kit works with wheels from 18 inch.

Does the kit fit behind my wheels?

A minimum of 19 inch is required for the big brake kit F22 365 mm. Check with the fitment template (WFC) whether your wheel clears the caliper before you order; a wheel spacer is sometimes required.

Can I take the big brake kit F22 365 mm on the track?

Yes, that is what it is made for. If you drive on the track often and hard, remove the dust seals from the calipers, as V-Maxx advises.

Does V-Maxx also offer a kit for the rear axle?

No. V-Maxx only supplies kits for the front axle, where about 90% of the braking power comes from.
