This big brake kit Ibiza 6K 290 mm from V-Maxx is a complete performance brake kit for the front axle of the Seat Ibiza 6K and Cordoba with PCD 4×100. The kit has 290 mm two-piece brake discs and 4-piston calipers made of forged aluminium and is supplied ready to fit, with vehicle-specific adapters for the original rubber brake hoses.

Thanks to the 290 mm disc size, the kit already fits behind 15 inch wheels. On the track and at track days it delivers more braking torque, a firm pedal and much less fade under repeated hard braking. V-Maxx Autosport is a Dutch manufacturer; the kit has a TÜV certificate according to §19.3, which means it is approved for use on public roads.

Fitting and delivery

Fit the kit according to the V-Maxx fitting instructions supplied. This version is only for cars with original steering knuckles. Do not use wheel cleaner on the brake kit, as it attacks the aluminium; clean it with a mild soap. For heavy track use, V-Maxx recommends removing the dust seals from the calipers.

Available as options: V-Maxx Steelflex brake hoses 460 mm (set of 2) for the front axle, with PTFE inner hose and TÜV approval, 500 ml of Ferodo brake fluid and a V-Maxx wear indicator set. Delivery time: 4 to 7 days.

This 290 mm kit (20 SE290 06) is for cars with a suitable original steering knuckle; check beforehand which knuckle is fitted to the car. If it is not suitable, choose 20 SE290 06+AD: the same 290 mm kit including new steering knuckles, wheel bearings and wheel hubs. For larger discs, there are 330 mm kits for PCD 4×100 (20 SE330 01-4) and 5×100 (20 SE330 13); these require wheels of at least 17 inch.
