Seat Toledo 1L V-Maxx Big Brake Kit 290 mm 4-piston

This big brake kit Toledo 1L from V-Maxx is a complete performance brake kit for the front axle of the Seat Toledo 1L, with 290 mm two-piece brake discs and 4-piston calipers made of forged aluminium.

The kit is intended for the Toledo 1L from January 1991 to October 1999, from 47 to 110 kW, with a 4×100 PCD, without ESP and with original rear disc or drum brakes. The grooved high-carbon steel discs sit on ultra-light floating aluminium bells, and because the caliper and bracket are also made of aluminium, the kit dissipates heat much faster. As a result, the braking performance stays consistent under repeated hard braking at a track day.

V-Maxx Autosport from the Netherlands supplies the kit ready to fit with sport brake pads with TÜV approval and vehicle-specific adapters to which the original rubber brake hoses connect. With the TÜV certificate according to §19.3, the kit is approved for use on public roads.

Fitting and delivery

Fit the kit according to the V-Maxx fitting instructions supplied. This version is only suitable for cars with original steering knuckles. Therefore check beforehand which knuckle is fitted to your Toledo 1L: if the original knuckle is not suitable, choose version 20 SE290 03+AD, which is supplied including new steering knuckles, wheel bearings and wheel hubs. Do not use wheel cleaner on the brake kit, as it attacks the aluminium; mild soap is sufficient. For heavy track use, V-Maxx recommends removing the dust seals from the calipers.

As an option, we supply V-Maxx Steelflex steel braided brake hoses for the front axle (370 mm, set of 2) with PTFE inner hose and TÜV approval, Ferodo Super Formula brake fluid (500 ml) and a V-Maxx wear indicator set. Delivery time: 4 to 7 days.
