The MTS Comfort Audi 80 B4 quattro Gold is a height-adjustable coilover kit from MTS Technik for the Audi 80 B4 with four-wheel drive (quattro), model years 1991 to 1996. Comfort is the softest MTS Technik setup: lower and firmer than standard, with as much ride comfort as possible.
On the Gold version, the steel parts have a yellow zinc coating and the aluminium parts are black anodised.

Fitting and delivery
The MTS Comfort Audi 80 B4 quattro Gold replaces the original dampers and springs and fits on the original mounting points.
- The stated lowering applies relative to the standard suspension. If the car has a factory sport suspension, the lowering will be smaller.
- When fitting, check the clearance between tyre or wheel and the strut: at least 5 mm. If it is less, use approved wheel spacers.
- After lowering, have the wheel alignment checked, because camber and toe change as well.

No. The MTS Comfort Audi 80 B4 quattro Gold is made for the four-wheel-drive (quattro) versions. MTS Technik has separate kits for the front-wheel drive versions.
What is the difference between Comfort, Street and Stance?
All versions use the same dampers; the difference lies in the Eibach springs and the lowering range: Comfort (30-55 and 40-80 N/mm), Street (60 and 40-80 N/mm) and Stance (70 and 40-80 N/mm). Comfort is the softest. Street is the standard. Stance is the firmest and the lowest.
What is the difference between Gold and Inox?
Gold has steel damper bodies with a yellow zinc coating, Inox has stainless steel damper bodies. Inox is more resistant to road salt and moisture and therefore costs more. Otherwise, the kits are identical.
