The MTS Stance Audi 80 B4 Gold is a height-adjustable coilover kit from MTS Technik for the Audi 80 B4, model years 1991 to 1996. Stance is the lowest and firmest setup from MTS Technik, for those who want the wheel tight under the wheel arch.
On the Gold version, the steel parts have a yellow zinc coating and the aluminium parts are black anodised.

Fitting and delivery
The MTS Stance Audi 80 B4 Gold replaces the original dampers and springs and fits on the original mounting points.
- The stated lowering applies relative to the standard suspension. If the car has a factory sport suspension, the lowering will be smaller.
- When fitting, check the clearance between tyre or wheel and the strut: at least 5 mm. If it is less, use approved wheel spacers.
- After lowering, have the wheel alignment checked, because camber and toe change as well.

Frequently asked questions
Does this kit also fit a four-wheel-drive (quattro) version?
No. The MTS Stance Audi 80 B4 Gold is not suitable for the four-wheel-drive versions. MTS Technik has separate sets for that.
What is the difference between Street and Stance?
All versions use the same dampers; the difference lies in the Eibach springs and the lowering range: Street (60 and 40-80 N/mm) and Stance (70 and 40-80 N/mm). Street is the standard. Stance is the firmest and the lowest.
What is the difference between Gold and Inox?
Gold has steel damper bodies with a yellow zinc coating, Inox has stainless steel damper bodies. Inox is more resistant to road salt and moisture and therefore costs more. Otherwise, the kits are identical.
