The MTS Street Audi 80 B3 Inox is a height-adjustable coilover kit from MTS Technik for the Audi 80 B3 / 90 B3 / Coupe B3 / Cabriolet B3, model years 1986 to 2000. Street is the standard setup from MTS Technik: a good balance between comfort and firmness, for daily use and the occasional track day or drift day.
On the Inox version, the damper bodies are made of stainless steel, so road salt and moisture don’t stand a chance.

Fitting and delivery
The MTS Street Audi 80 B3 Inox replaces the original dampers and springs and fits on the original mounting points.
- The stated lowering applies relative to the standard suspension. If the car has a factory sport suspension, the lowering will be smaller.
- When fitting, check the clearance between tyre or wheel and the strut: at least 5 mm. If it is less, use approved wheel spacers.
- Tip for adjusting the rear: remove the height adjuster, set the spring seat to the new position and refit the adjuster.
- After lowering, have the wheel alignment checked, because camber and toe change as well.

Does this kit also fit a four-wheel-drive (quattro) version?
No. The MTS Street Audi 80 B3 Inox is not suitable for the four-wheel-drive versions. MTS Technik has separate sets for that.
What is the difference between Gold and Inox?
Gold has steel damper bodies with a yellow zinc coating, Inox has stainless steel damper bodies. Inox is more resistant to road salt and moisture and therefore costs more. Otherwise, the kits are identical.
