BMW E36 Compact Door Panels Front

These E36 Compact door panels replace the heavy original door trim of your BMW E36 Compact with light 1 mm aluminium sheets. One panel weighs 1.2 kg and you get two, for the left and right front doors. The sheets are powder-coated on one side and cut on a CNC machine.

They are intended for drift, rally and track cars in which every kilo counts and the interior still has to look neat. If you have laminate doors, the panels immediately give those doors extra stiffness.

Installation and delivery

You decide how to attach the panels. Rivets are the best choice: they stay put, do not rattle and look sporty. First remove the original door trim, hold the panel against the door, mark the holes and drill them through the panel and the door. Treat the drill holes with some anti-rust paint before you set the rivets.

After fitting, check that the window, the door handle and the lock can still move freely. Please note: according to the manufacturer, the example photo was taken with panels for an E36 Coupé. The panels you receive are intended for the doors of the Compact.

No, this set is for the Compact. There are separate panels for the saloon and the coupé.
