With this big brake kit A4 B5, you give the first-generation Audi A4 a braking system with 330 mm two-piece brake discs and 4-piston calipers made of forged aluminium. The V-Maxx kit fits the A4 B5 and the A4 Quattro (B5Q), in all versions up to 142 kW.

The A4 B5 is still widely used as a modern classic, for club racing and for track days. On exactly those cars, the original brakes are quickly the weak point: under repeated hard braking, the temperature rises and the braking power drops. This V-Maxx kit cools down much faster and keeps the braking power consistent.

V-Maxx Autosport is a Dutch manufacturer and gives a 2-year warranty on this kit. With the TÜV certificate according to §19.3, it is also approved for use on public roads.

Fitting and delivery

Fit the kit according to the V-Maxx fitting instructions supplied with it, using the tightening torques from those instructions. The kit is only intended for cars with original steering knuckles. Clean the brake kit with a mild soap, as wheel cleaner attacks the aluminium. For heavy track use, V-Maxx recommends removing the dust seals from the calipers.

Options: V-Maxx Steelflex steel braided brake hoses for the front axle (460 mm, set of 2) with PTFE inner hose and TÜV approval, Ferodo brake fluid (500 ml), a V-Maxx wear indicator set, calipers in black, blue or yellow at extra cost and an extra set of Ferodo FDSR216 DS Performance brake pads without TÜV approval. Delivery time: 4 to 7 days.
