This big brake kit BRZ from V-Maxx is a complete performance brake kit for the front axle of the Subaru BRZ 2.0 (147 kW), with 330 mm two-piece brake discs and 4-piston calipers made of forged aluminium.

The BRZ is a light rear-wheel-drive coupé that is often used on the track, at track days and for drifting. What counts most there is that the brakes keep working the same way after a series of hard stops. The caliper, bracket and bell of this kit are made of aluminium, which conducts heat about 5 times better than steel, and the discs have directional cooling channels.

Important: V-Maxx has no TÜV approval for this version. The kit is therefore mainly intended for track use; it is up to you to check whether you are allowed to use it on public roads in your situation. V-Maxx Autosport is a Dutch manufacturer and gives a 2-year warranty.

Fitting and delivery

Fit the big brake kit BRZ according to the V-Maxx fitting instructions supplied and observe the tightening torques. The kit only fits cars with original steering knuckles. Do not use wheel cleaner on the brake kit, as it attacks the aluminium; a mild soap is sufficient. For heavy track use, V-Maxx recommends removing the dust seals from the calipers.

Options: a different caliper colour (red RAL 3020 as standard, or black, blue or yellow at extra cost), V-Maxx Steelflex steel braided brake hoses 500 mm with convex-concave adapter set (set of 2) with PTFE inner hose, Ferodo brake fluid (500 ml), a V-Maxx wear indicator set and an extra set of Ferodo FDSR216 DS Performance brake pads for the track (without TÜV approval). Delivery time: 4 to 7 days.
