The big brake kit Caddy SB 355 mm is the V-Maxx front brake kit for the Volkswagen Caddy 5 (SB) with steel steering knuckle, with 355 mm two-piece brake discs and 6-piston calipers made of forged aluminium.

This kit is intended for the Caddy V (SB) from 09-2020 with Ø55 mm shock absorber clamp and an output of 77 to 90 kW. The original rear brake discs must be at least Ø271 mm. Note the distinction from the Caddy 5 (SA) with aluminium steering knuckle: V-Maxx has separate kits for that model.

Fitting and delivery

Fit the kit according to the V-Maxx fitting instructions supplied and apply the tightening torques from those instructions. The big brake kit Caddy SB 355 mm is only intended for cars with original steering knuckles. Clean the kit with a mild soap; wheel cleaner attacks the aluminium.
