This big brake kit Corrado with knuckles is the V-Maxx version for the Volkswagen Corrado (53i) where the original steering knuckle is not suitable for the brake kit. In addition to 290 mm two-piece brake discs and 4-piston calipers made of forged aluminium, you also get new steering knuckles, wheel bearings and wheel hubs.

This lets you convert the front brakes in one go, without first having to find suitable steering knuckles yourself. The kit is supplied ready to fit with V-Maxx sport brake pads with TÜV approval and vehicle-specific adapters for the original rubber brake hoses.

V-Maxx Autosport is a Dutch manufacturer. The kit has a TÜV certificate according to §19.3 and is approved for use on public roads, so you can use it at track days and drift events as well as every day.

Fitting and delivery

Fit the kit according to the V-Maxx fitting instructions supplied. Unlike the standard kit 20 VW290 04, which only fits original steering knuckles, this big brake kit Corrado with knuckles is supplied including new steering knuckles, wheel bearings and wheel hubs. Clean the brake kit with mild soap and never with wheel cleaner, as it attacks the aluminium. For heavy track use, V-Maxx recommends removing the dust seals from the calipers.

Optional: V-Maxx Steelflex brake hoses 500 mm (set of 2), steel braided brake hoses for the front axle with PTFE inner hose and TÜV approval, Ferodo brake fluid (500 ml) and a V-Maxx wear indicator set. Delivery time: 4 to 7 days.

The kW limits in the application list refer to the original factory output, and with an officially approved power upgrade the TÜV approval remains valid.
