This big brake kit E28 from V-Maxx gives the classic BMW 5 Series E28 a modern front axle, with 330 mm two-piece brake discs and 4-piston calipers made of forged aluminium. The kit is supplied ready to fit, including V-Maxx sport brake pads and vehicle-specific adapters to which the original rubber brake hoses connect.

An E28 that is still driven a lot, on the road, at track days or as a drift project, benefits from brakes that stay consistent under repeated hard braking. Fitting and delivery

Fit the brake kit according to the V-Maxx fitting instructions supplied with the kit. The kit only fits cars with original steering knuckles, something to check beforehand on an older E28. Do not use wheel cleaner on the brakes, as it attacks the aluminium; mild soap is sufficient. For heavy track use, V-Maxx recommends removing the dust seals from the calipers.

You can also order with it: a different caliper colour, V-Maxx Steelflex steel braided brake hoses for the front axle (PTFE inner hose, with TÜV approval), Ferodo Super Formula brake fluid (500 ml), a V-Maxx wear indicator set and an extra set of Ferodo FDSR216 DS Performance brake pads (these have no TÜV approval). Delivery time: 4 to 7 days.
