With this big brake kit E34 from V-Maxx, the BMW 5 Series E34 gets a complete performance brake kit on the front axle, with 330 mm two-piece brake discs and 4-piston calipers made of forged aluminium. Sport brake pads and vehicle-specific adapters to which the original rubber brake hoses connect are included in the kit as standard.

The E34 is heavy and often has a powerful engine, and the original brakes struggle with that when you have to brake hard repeatedly. This kit is intended for anyone who uses their E34 at track days, for drifting or for spirited road driving and wants the brakes to stay consistent. Fitting and delivery

Fit the kit according to the V-Maxx fitting instructions supplied. The kit only fits cars with original steering knuckles. Clean the brake kit with mild soap and never with wheel cleaner, as it attacks the aluminium. For heavy track use, V-Maxx recommends removing the dust seals from the calipers.

Available to order as options: a different caliper colour, V-Maxx Steelflex steel braided brake hoses for the front axle (PTFE inner hose, with TÜV approval), 500 ml of Ferodo Super Formula brake fluid, a V-Maxx wear indicator set and an extra set of Ferodo FDSR216 DS Performance brake pads, which have no TÜV approval. Delivery time: 4 to 7 days.

Can I use this kit on public roads?

Yes. The kit has a TÜV certificate according to §19.3 and is therefore approved for use on public roads, also with an officially approved power upgrade.

Is it normal for the brake pads to click?

Yes. V-Maxx deliberately gives the pads 1 to 1.5 mm of play in the caliper so that they do not seize at high temperatures. As a result, you hear a short click when you change direction of travel.

What options are available?

You can choose a different caliper colour (black, blue or yellow, at extra cost) and complete the kit with Steelflex steel braided brake hoses, Ferodo Super Formula brake fluid, a wear indicator set and Ferodo FDSR216 DS Performance brake pads.
