This big brake kit Fabia RS from V-Maxx replaces the complete front brakes with a performance brake kit featuring 330 mm two-piece brake discs and 4-piston calipers made of forged aluminium. The kit is made for the Skoda Fabia 6Y and 5J from 85 kW, including the RS and estate versions, and for the Octavia 1U from 96 kW, with a separate application for the 1.8 Turbo, RS and VRS.

On the track, at a track day or when drifting, the brakes are put under heavy load. This kit then delivers more braking power, a consistent pedal feel and much less fade, even after several hard braking manoeuvres in a row.

V-Maxx Autosport is a Dutch manufacturer that supplies the kit ready to fit, including V-Maxx sport brake pads with TÜV approval and vehicle-specific adapters. Thanks to the TÜV certificate according to §19.3, the kit is approved for use on public roads.

Fitting and delivery

Fit the kit according to the V-Maxx fitting instructions supplied. The big brake kit is only intended for cars with original steering knuckles. Never clean the brake kit with wheel cleaner, as it attacks the aluminium; mild soap is sufficient. If you drive on the track a lot, V-Maxx recommends removing the dust seals from the calipers.

Available as an option: a different caliper colour (black, blue or yellow instead of the standard red), V-Maxx Steelflex steel braided brake hoses for the front axle (500 mm, set of 2) with PTFE inner hose and TÜV approval, Ferodo Super Formula brake fluid (500 ml), a V-Maxx wear indicator set and an additional set of Ferodo FDSR216 DS Performance brake pads. Please note: these DS pads have no TÜV approval. Delivery time: 4 to 7 days.

Yes, definitely. A Fabia RS with more power than standard benefits most from this kit: 330 mm discs and 4-piston calipers give more braking power and much less fade. The kW limits in the application list refer to the original factory output, and with an officially approved power upgrade the TÜV approval remains valid.
