With the big brake kit i10 IA from V-Maxx, you convert the front axle of the Hyundai i10 (IA) to a complete performance brake kit with 290 mm two-piece brake discs and 4-piston calipers made of forged aluminium. The kit comes ready to fit, with V-Maxx sport brake pads and vehicle-specific adapters that the original rubber brake hoses connect to.

Under repeated hard braking on the track or during a track day, the temperatures of the original brakes rise quickly, and braking performance then drops. This kit is built to get rid of that heat quickly. The result is more braking power, a firm pedal and much less fade, even after several hard stops in a row.

V-Maxx Autosport is a Dutch manufacturer and gives a 2-year warranty on the kit. Thanks to the TÜV certificate according to §19.3, the kit is approved for use on public roads.

Fitting and delivery

Fit the kit according to the V-Maxx fitting instructions supplied and observe the tightening torques stated in them. The big brake kit i10 IA only fits an i10 with original steering knuckles. Clean the brake kit with mild soap and never with wheel cleaner, as it attacks the aluminium. If you drive often and hard on the track, V-Maxx advises removing the dust seals from the calipers.

As options, we supply V-Maxx Steelflex steel braided brake hoses for the front axle (370 mm, set of 2) with PTFE inner hose and TÜV approval, Ferodo brake fluid in a 500 ml bottle and a V-Maxx wear indicator set. Delivery time: 4 to 7 days.

Yes. V-Maxx deliberately gives the pads 1 to 1.5 mm of play so they do not seize at high temperatures. As a result, you hear a short click when the direction of travel changes.
