This big brake kit Ibiza 6K from V-Maxx is a complete 330 mm performance brake kit for the front axle of the Seat Ibiza 6K, Cordoba and Toledo 1L with PCD 4×100. The kit combines 330 mm two-piece brake discs with 4-piston calipers made of forged aluminium and is supplied ready to fit, including vehicle-specific adapters for the original rubber brake hoses.

With the larger disc size, the car gets more braking torque, a firm pedal and much less fade under repeated hard braking, on the track and at track days. V-Maxx Autosport is a Dutch manufacturer and supplies the kit with a TÜV certificate according to §19.3, so it is also approved for use on public roads.

Fitting and delivery

Fit the kit according to the V-Maxx fitting instructions supplied. The kit is only suitable for cars with original steering knuckles. Do not use wheel cleaner on the brake kit, as it attacks the aluminium; a mild soap is sufficient. For heavy track use, V-Maxx recommends removing the dust seals from the calipers.

Options: caliper colour red (RAL 3020, standard) or black, blue or yellow at extra cost, V-Maxx Steelflex brake hoses 500 mm (set of 2) for the front axle with PTFE inner hose and TÜV approval, 500 ml of Ferodo brake fluid, a V-Maxx wear indicator set and an extra set of Ferodo FDSR216 DS Performance brake pads, which do not have TÜV approval. Delivery time: 4 to 7 days.

Which version do I need: 4×100 or 5×100?

Look at the PCD of your car. This kit (20 SE330 01-4) is only for PCD 4×100. For PCD 5×100, there is the 330 mm kit 20 SE330 13. If you want to keep driving on 15 inch wheels, there are the 290 mm kits 20 SE290 06 and 20 SE290 06+AD (including steering knuckles).

Does the kit also fit if my car has rear drum brakes?

No. On the Ibiza 6K and Cordoba, the kit is only suitable for cars with original rear disc brakes.

Does the big brake kit Ibiza 6K fit behind my wheels?

The big brake kit Ibiza 6K requires wheels of at least 17 inch. Check with the fitment template (WFC) whether the caliper has enough clearance; in some cases a wheel spacer is required.
