Description
Skoda Kodiaq V-Maxx Big Brake Kit 355 mm 6-piston
This big brake kit Kodiaq 355 mm from V-Maxx is a complete front brake kit with 355 mm two-piece brake discs and 6-piston calipers made of forged aluminium. The kit fits the Skoda Kodiaq (NS) from 10-2016 with 77 to 206 kW, provided the car has an aluminium steering knuckle with a Ø55 mm shock absorber clamp.
A large SUV such as the Kodiaq places high demands on the brakes, especially with a fully loaded car, on long descents or during spirited driving. With 355 mm discs and six pistons per caliper, the Kodiaq gets more braking power and a pedal that stays stable even after repeated hard braking.
V-Maxx Autosport is a Dutch manufacturer. The kit has a TÜV certificate according to §19.3 and is supplied ready to fit with V-Maxx sport brake pads with TÜV approval and vehicle-specific adapters for the original rubber brake hoses.

Fitting and delivery
Fit the kit according to the V-Maxx fitting instructions supplied. The kit is intended exclusively for cars with original steering knuckles; on the Kodiaq, this must be the aluminium knuckle with the Ø55 mm clamp. Do not use wheel cleaner on the brake kit, as it attacks the aluminium; clean it with mild soap. For intensive track use, V-Maxx recommends removing the dust seals from the calipers.
You can extend the kit with V-Maxx Steelflex steel braided brake hoses for the front axle (620 mm, set of 2) with PTFE inner hose and TÜV approval, Ferodo Super Formula brake fluid (500 ml) and a V-Maxx wear indicator set. Delivery time: 4 to 7 days.
Six pistons, 355 mm discs and aluminium that dissipates heat quickly: this is how a Kodiaq keeps braking, even when the going gets tough.
Why choose this big brake kit Kodiaq 355 mm?
This 355 mm version is the V-Maxx 6-piston kit for the Kodiaq that already fits wheels from 18 inch; the 365 mm kit requires at least 19 inch. If you drive on 18 inch wheels, this is the logical choice. You get forged 6-piston calipers, directional cooling channels in the discs and fast heat dissipation thanks to the aluminium caliper, bracket and bell. The result is a braking system that stays consistent under repeated hard braking.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between the 355 mm and the 365 mm kit for the Kodiaq?
Both kits have 6-piston calipers made of forged aluminium and the same applications. The 365 mm kit (part number 20 SK365 03) has larger discs and requires wheels of at least 19 inch. This 355 mm kit already fits wheels from 18 inch.
Does the kit fit every Kodiaq?
No. The car must have an aluminium steering knuckle with a Ø55 mm shock absorber clamp and original brake discs of at least Ø288 mm at the front and Ø271 mm at the rear. In addition, the kit is limited to versions with 77 to 206 kW.
Can I drive on public roads with the big brake kit Kodiaq 355 mm?
Yes. The big brake kit Kodiaq 355 mm has a TÜV certificate according to §19.3 and is approved for use on public roads, also with an officially approved power upgrade.
Do the brake pads click when changing between forwards and reverse?
Yes, and that is normal. V-Maxx gives the pads 1 to 1.5 mm of play so they do not seize when hot. As a result, they click briefly when you change between driving forwards and reversing.
