The big brake kit Octavia NX 355 mm from V-Maxx is a complete performance brake kit for the front axle of the Skoda Octavia NX, with 355 mm two-piece brake discs and 6-piston calipers made of forged aluminium. The kit fits all versions from 11-2019 with 77 to 206 kW, provided the car has a steel steering knuckle and Ø55 mm front shock absorbers.

At a track day or on fast drives, the brakes of the Octavia NX are put under heavy load again and again. With 355 mm discs and six pistons per caliper you get more braking torque, while the aluminium calipers and bells dissipate the heat quickly. The result is a pedal that feels the same even after repeated hard braking.

V-Maxx Autosport is a Dutch manufacturer and gives a 2-year warranty. The kit has a TÜV certificate according to §19.3 and is supplied ready to fit with V-Maxx sport brake pads with TÜV approval and vehicle-specific adapters to which the original rubber brake hoses connect.

Fitting and delivery

Fit the kit according to the V-Maxx fitting instructions supplied. This big brake kit is only intended for cars with original steering knuckles; for the Octavia NX, that means the steel knuckle with the Ø55 mm clamp. Do not clean the brake kit with wheel cleaner, as it attacks the aluminium; mild soap is sufficient. For heavy track use, V-Maxx recommends removing the dust seals from the calipers.

Also available as extras: Ferodo Super Formula brake fluid (500 ml), V-Maxx Steelflex steel braided brake hoses for the front axle (620 mm, set of 2) with PTFE inner hose and TÜV approval, and a V-Maxx wear indicator set. Delivery time: 4 to 7 days.

With the 355 mm kit you get 6-piston calipers, while 18 inch wheels are already enough. If you run 19 inch wheels, you can also consider the 365 mm kit.
