Peugeot 205 V-Maxx Big Brake Kit 290 mm 4-piston

This big brake kit Peugeot 205 from V-Maxx is made for the 205 versions from 76 to 94 kW with original rear disc brakes, and replaces the front brakes with a complete performance brake kit featuring 290 mm two-piece brake discs and 4-piston calipers made of forged aluminium. The kit is supplied ready to fit, with V-Maxx sport brake pads with TÜV approval and vehicle-specific adapters for the original rubber brake hoses.

Fitting and delivery

Fit the big brake kit Peugeot 205 according to the V-Maxx fitting instructions supplied. Check beforehand whether your 205 falls within the application: 76 to 94 kW and factory-fitted rear disc brakes. The kit is only suitable for cars with original steering knuckles. Clean the brake kit with a mild soap and never with wheel cleaner, as it attacks the aluminium.

As options, we supply V-Maxx Steelflex steel braided brake hoses for the front axle (460 mm, set of 2) with PTFE inner hose and TÜV approval, Ferodo brake fluid (500 ml) and a V-Maxx wear indicator set. Delivery time: 4 to 7 days.

Is it normal for the brake pads to click?

Yes. V-Maxx deliberately gives the pads 1 to 1.5 mm of play so they do not seize at high temperatures. As a result, you hear a short click when you change direction of travel.
