Peugeot 308 V-Maxx Big Brake Kit 330 mm 4-piston

With the big brake kit Peugeot 308 from V-Maxx, the front axle of the 308, 308 CC and 308 SW (4*) with PCD 4×108 gets a complete performance brake kit: 330 mm two-piece brake discs and 4-piston calipers made of forged aluminium. The kit is ready to fit, including V-Maxx sport brake pads with TÜV approval and vehicle-specific adapters to which the original rubber brake hoses connect.

From the factory, the 308 is available with outputs of up to 147 kW. Anyone who uses that power on the track or at a track day asks a lot of the brakes. The big brake kit Peugeot 308 increases the braking torque and dissipates the heat much faster, so fade only sets in much later.

V-Maxx Autosport is a Dutch manufacturer and gives a 2-year warranty. With the TÜV certificate according to §19.3, the kit is approved for use on public roads.

Fitting and delivery

Fit the big brake kit Peugeot 308 according to the V-Maxx fitting instructions supplied. Before fitting, check that your 308 has PCD 4×108 with a 66 mm centre bore; other versions are not covered by this kit. The kit is only suitable for cars with original steering knuckles. Clean the brake kit with mild soap and never with wheel cleaner, as it attacks the aluminium.

As options, we supply V-Maxx Steelflex steel braided brake hoses for the front axle (500 mm, set of 2) with PTFE inner hose and TÜV approval, Ferodo brake fluid (500 ml), a V-Maxx wear indicator set and an extra set of Ferodo FDSR216 DS Performance brake pads, which have no TÜV approval. Instead of standard red (RAL 3020), the calipers are also available in black, blue or yellow at extra cost. Delivery time: 4 to 7 days.

Up to 147 kW from the factory calls for reserves: with 330 mm discs and aluminium 4-piston calipers, the 308 keeps braking in a controlled way, even after a series of hard stops.
