Citroën Saxo V-Maxx Big Brake Kit 290 mm 4-piston

A big brake kit Saxo from V-Maxx turns the standard front brakes of the Citroën Saxo (S) into a brake system that stays consistent even under repeated hard braking. The kit consists of 290 mm two-piece brake discs, 4-piston calipers made of forged aluminium, V-Maxx sport brake pads with TÜV approval and vehicle-specific adapters to which the original rubber brake hoses connect.

On the track, in slalom events or during a sprint, a lot is asked of a Saxo: short stretches between the corners and hard braking again and again. The big brake kit Saxo handles that with more braking torque and a construction that dissipates heat quickly, so fade sets in much later.

V-Maxx Autosport is a Dutch manufacturer and gives a 2-year warranty. The kit has a TÜV certificate according to §19.3, which means it is also approved for use on public roads.

Fitting and delivery

Fit the big brake kit Saxo according to the V-Maxx fitting instructions supplied, with the tightening torques stated in them. The kit is only intended for a Saxo with original steering knuckles. Clean the brake kit with a mild soap; wheel cleaner attacks the aluminium, so do not use it. For heavy track use, V-Maxx recommends removing the dust seals from the calipers.

As an option, we supply V-Maxx Steelflex steel braided brake hoses for the front axle (460 mm, set of 2) with PTFE inner hose and TÜV approval, Ferodo brake fluid (500 ml) and a V-Maxx wear indicator set. Delivery time: 4 to 7 days.
