Audi TT 8N V-Maxx Big Brake Kit 330 mm 4-piston

The big brake kit TT 8N from V-Maxx is a complete brake kit for the front axle of the first-generation Audi TT, both the Coupé and the Roadster. The kit consists of 330 mm two-piece brake discs and 4-piston calipers made of forged aluminium, and fits all versions up to 165 kW, including Quattro.

If you use your TT 8N at track days or in club racing, the original brakes quickly become the limiting factor. This V-Maxx kit gives more braking torque and dissipates heat much faster, so the braking power stays consistent even after a series of hard stops.

V-Maxx Autosport is a Dutch manufacturer and gives a 2-year warranty. The kit has a TÜV certificate according to §19.3 and is therefore approved for use on public roads.

Fitting and delivery

You receive the kit ready to fit. Fit it according to the V-Maxx fitting instructions supplied and follow the tightening torques. The kit is only intended for cars with original steering knuckles. Use mild soap to keep the brake kit clean, as wheel cleaner attacks the aluminium. For heavy track use, V-Maxx recommends removing the dust seals from the calipers.

Options: V-Maxx Steelflex steel braided brake hoses for the front axle (620 mm, set of 2) with PTFE inner hose and TÜV approval, Ferodo brake fluid (500 ml), a V-Maxx wear indicator set, a different caliper colour (black, blue or yellow at extra cost) and an extra set of Ferodo FDSR216 DS Performance brake pads without TÜV approval. Delivery time: 4 to 7 days.

You can also order V-Maxx Steelflex steel braided brake hoses (620 mm, set of 2), Ferodo brake fluid, a wear indicator set, a different caliper colour and an extra set of Ferodo DS Performance brake pads. The DS pads have no TÜV approval.

Is there also a kit for the rear axle?

No. V-Maxx only supplies kits for the front axle, because about 90% of the braking power comes from the front axle.
