BMW E90 E92 E82 Caliper Adapter for Hydraulic Handbrake (Weld-in Version)

With this E92 E82 caliper adapter set, you can mount an additional brake caliper on both rear wheels of your BMW 3 Series E9X or 1 Series E8X, such as the E90, E92, E93, E82 and E88. This gives your hydraulic handbrake its own caliper, separate from the footbrake.

The set consists of two adapters, for left and right. They are welded onto the control arm, where the ABS sensor is originally located; that sensor has to be removed for this. Important to know beforehand: with these adapters, you cannot keep the rear anti-roll bar.

Fitting and delivery

Remove the ABS sensor on the rear axle and lightly grind down the sensor seat so that the caliper bracket of the additional caliper fits. Then weld the adapters onto the control arm. Bear in mind that the rear anti-roll bar cannot be refitted. Have the welding done by someone with experience. If you are unsure about the fit or the parts you want to use, please contact us.
