Installation and delivery

Fitting this BMW diffuser is doable for anyone who is reasonably handy. First decide how you want to position the fins: two or three in the centre, and the two separate outer parts on the left and right. Hold everything under the bumper, check that the exhaust stays clear and mark the holes. Mounting hardware is not specified; fix the parts with your own bolts, wide washers and lock nuts.

Before you fix the BMW diffuser in place, take a good look at the space around the exhaust. Aluminium close to a hot exhaust pipe or rear silencer can discolour, so keep some distance. If you want it in colour, degrease the aluminium and use an adhesion primer.
