Adjustable FIA Bucket Seat Bottom Mount

This adjustable bucket seat bottom mount set is intended for bucket seats that are fixed at the bottom. The two 3 mm steel brackets have lots of mounting holes, so you can adjust the seat in height and position until you have the right seating position. They are black powder-coated and made according to FIA Appendix J.

Not every bucket seat has mounting points at the side. For seats that are mounted at the bottom, this set is the solution. It is made for motorsport cars in drift, rally, time attack and the quarter mile.

Installation and delivery

The adjustable bucket seat bottom mount is bolted to the mounting points under the seat. Thanks to the many holes you can move the seat forwards, backwards and in height. First put the seat loosely in place and sit in it wearing your helmet. Check the space to the roof and the steering wheel and the distance to the pedals, and only then tighten everything.

A low seating position gives you more feel for what the car is doing and more room under the roof for your helmet. With adjustable brackets you find the best position for each driver, without having to drill new holes.

Use bolts of a good strength grade with washers and lock nuts, and check the mounting after every race or track day. Also make sure the mount is firmly fixed to the floor of the car, and read the regulations of your class beforehand.
