Installation and delivery

Unlike the E9x version, no fixed mounting points are specified for the E46: you decide yourself how to fix the E46 spare wheel cover. The manufacturer recommends pop rivets or self-tapping screws. Lay the plate in place, mark the holes and drill them around the edge of the well.

Deburr the drilled holes in the body and treat them against rust before you fix the plate. Put the powder-coated side facing up so that the boot looks neat. If you use self-tapping screws, choose stainless ones and do not overtighten them, so that the thin aluminium does not distort.
