This light E92 BMW spare wheel cover, also known as a spare wheel well delete, neatly closes off the spare wheel well in the boot of the BMW E90, E91 and E92. If you drive without a spare wheel, for example in a drift or track car, an empty, open well is left in the boot floor. This aluminium plate makes the boot flat and closed again.

The cover is ideal if you want to save weight: it is made of 1 mm aluminium and weighs only 1.1 kg. It also keeps smoke and dust out of the interior and makes the boot look a lot tidier.

Installation and delivery

Remove the spare wheel and the boot trim above the well. The E92 BMW spare wheel cover fits over the opening and is fixed to the original studs with the original nuts, so you do not need to drill. The holes in the plate line up exactly with those mounting points.

Put the powder-coated side facing up so that the boot looks clean. Then check that all nuts are properly tight and that no cables or lines are trapped between the plate and the body.
