Description
AST Multipoint Weld-in Roll Cage Nissan Silvia S14 Coupé V4 NASCAR door
The Multipoint S14 V4 NASCAR is a full roll cage from AST Roll Cages for the two-door Nissan Silvia S14 and the best-equipped drift version in the range for this car. Ten welded mounting points, NASCAR door bars, an extra diagonal brace in the main hoop and a harness bar behind the seats.
This version combines what the V4 adds in rigidity and harness mounting with the door protection of the NASCAR range. For a car that competes every week, that is a logical combination: you want to be able to attach the harnesses at the right height, and you want steel in the door that can take contact.
The rear structure has a V design. The cage is supplied unpainted.

Fitting and delivery
Plan this fitting properly from the start. The seat position determines the height of the harness bar, and the NASCAR door tubes determine how much shoulder room you have left. So test-fit the seats in position before anything is permanently fixed. After that it is the usual job: stripped car, bare metal at the welding points, ten points to weld.
The cage is custom-built after ordering. The delivery time is 15 to 35 working days.
Everything a drift car needs: the harnesses where they belong and the door full of steel.
Why choose this Multipoint S14 V4 NASCAR?
This is the point at which the S14 stops being a road car with a cage and becomes a competition car. The combination of harness bar and NASCAR door bars covers the two things that go wrong in drifting: harnesses pulling at the wrong angle, and contact from the side. Because AST scans the bodyshell in advance, those door bars sit tight in the door and you keep more room than with a structure fitted on the spot.
