AST Multipoint Weld-in Roll Cage Nissan Silvia S15 Coupé V2

The Multipoint S15 Coupé V2 is a full roll cage from AST Roll Cages for the two-door Nissan Silvia S15, welded to the bodyshell at ten points.

Compared with V1, two front reinforcement bars are added that run from the A-pillar through to the bulkhead. With a ten-point construction, that is the logical next step: the rear is already heavily anchored, so the gains are now at the front, around the strut towers and the inner wings. The result is an S15 that shows less of a mind of its own on turn-in.

The rear structure has an X design. The cage is supplied unpainted.

Fitting and delivery

The front bars need the most attention. They run past the dashboard to the bulkhead and share space there with the wiring loom and the heater box. Fix that route before you start welding, because corrections take the most time here. Otherwise: stripped car, ten mounting points taken back to bare metal, weld.
