The AST Weld-in Roll Cage for the BMW E21 Coupé V4 is a full roll cage for the BMW 3 Series E21 with 2-door coupé bodywork. This weld-in E21 Coupé V4 includes everything from the V3 and adds an extra diagonal brace and a harness bar.

The cage is designed and built by AST Roll Cages in Spain for drivers who use their E21 seriously and want to attach their harness to the cage rather than to the original body mounting points.

Fitting and delivery

The cage is built to order; the standard delivery time is 15 to 35 working days. AST digitises the bodyshell with laser scanners and designs the cage in 3D so that it fits your car exactly. Put your bucket seats in their final position before the harness bar is welded in, as its height has to match your shoulder straps.

With the harness bar, your harness is anchored to the cage itself rather than to the sheet metal of a car from the seventies.
