The AST Weld-in Roll Cage BMW E28 Saloon V1 is a full roll cage for the BMW 5 Series E28 with 4-door saloon bodywork. This Weld-in E28 Saloon V1 is the basic version of the range: a main hoop with braces that is welded firmly to the bodyshell at eight points.

The cage is designed and built by AST Roll Cages in Spain, for drivers turning their classic E28 from the 1981 to 1988 model years into a fully fledged track or drift car.

The cage is built to order; the standard delivery time is 15 to 35 working days. AST digitises the bodyshell with laser scanners and designs the cage in 3D, so that it fits your car exactly. Welding in is permanent and should be carried out by a professional with welding experience.
