The Weld-in Roll Cage 350Z V4 is a full roll cage for the Nissan 350Z with the Z33 chassis in 3-door coupé bodywork, welded in at eight points. Where the V3 stops at the door bars, this version adds an extra diagonal brace in the main hoop and a harness bar behind the seats.

Each of these two tubes has its own job. The diagonal keeps the main hoop square under torsional load, while the harness bar gives the shoulder straps a fixed anchorage point at the correct height.

The cage arrives as a weld-in kit, with custom-bent tubes, gussets and reinforcement plates.

Fitting and delivery

Every cage is built to order, with a delivery time of 15 to 35 working days. The interior must be stripped out completely before any welding can start. Ideally, fit your bucket seats before the harness bar is finally welded in place, so you can check the height against your own seating position. The welding should be done by a fabricator with roll cage experience.

What does V4 add compared with V3?

This Weld-in Roll Cage 350Z V4 has an extra diagonal brace in the main hoop and a harness bar behind the seats. The V3 stops at the main hoop, the backstays, the front reinforcement bars and the door bars.

Can I attach my shoulder straps to the harness bar?

That is exactly what the bar is for. Do, however, follow your harness manufacturer’s fitting instructions and the angles specified in your sporting regulations.

Can this cage be removed?

Not without cutting. The cage is welded firmly to the bodyshell at eight points. If you want a removable structure, take a look at the bolt-in version.

Does the cage fit a car with headlining?

No. This version is designed for a roof without a sunroof and without headlining.

Is this roll cage homologated?
