Description
BMW E39 E60 Adjustable Camber Arms
With these E39 E60 adjustable camber arms you can set up the rear axle of your BMW 5 Series precisely. This is a set of four rear camber arms for the E39, the E60 and the E61 Touring. The main purpose is setting the rear camber, but you can also correct the toe with them.
If you want to fit larger or wider wheels, a little extra negative camber lets you keep the wheels inside the wheel arches without cutting or rolling. They are also suitable for drift projects that use the rear suspension of the E39.

Installation and delivery
These arms replace the original rear control arms. Copy the length of the original arms beforehand, so that the car still sits reasonably straight after fitting and you can drive safely to the wheel alignment specialist. Only tighten the bolts fully with the car on its wheels, so that the joints are free of tension.
A full wheel alignment after fitting is essential. During the alignment, the desired camber and toe are set and the jam nuts are tightened. After a few hundred kilometres, check again that all bolts and lock nuts are still tight.
All adjustable arms for the rear axle are in our camber arms category. For the 7 Series we have a similar set: the adjustable camber arms for the E38.

More camber, room for larger wheels and a rear axle that does what you want.
Why choose these E39 E60 adjustable camber arms?
The original rear arms of the 5 Series leave no room to change the camber. If you lower the car or fit wider wheels, you quickly run into that limit. These E39 E60 adjustable camber arms do give you that adjustment range. They are built with thick-walled tube, TIG-welded eyes and heavy-duty uniballs, so they are made for hard use. This lets you tune the rear wheel alignment to your wheels, your lowering and your driving style.
Frequently asked questions
Do they also fit an E61 Touring?
Yes, the set is suitable for the E39, the E60 and the E61.
How many do I get?
A set of four arms for the rear axle.
What do I adjust with them?
With the E39 E60 adjustable camber arms you mainly set the rear camber, and also the toe.
Is an adjustment range in degrees specified?
No, the range is described as very large, without exact values.
Is a wheel alignment needed after fitting?
Yes, always have the car fully aligned after fitting.
Can I use them in an E39 drift project?
Yes. The set is also specifically intended for drift cars built with the rear suspension of the E39.
Are the arms noisier than the originals?
Uniballs give a more direct feel, but also pass on more vibration and noise than rubber bushes. For drifting and circuit use, that is usually not a problem.
