BMW E46/E39/E31 Camber plates

With these BMW E46 E39 E31 camber plates you set the camber of the front wheels yourself. They replace the upper strut mounts and have slotted holes in which you move the strut inwards or outwards. This lets you decide how much negative camber the front wheels get.

For drifting and track work you want more contact patch in the corner; for a stance project, the position of the wheel defines the whole look. In both cases these plates give you the freedom to tune the suspension and handling to how you use the car.

Installation and delivery

The plates go in place of the original upper strut mounts. You remove the struts, fit the E46 E39 E31 camber plates on top and reinstall everything in the strut tower. You then set the desired camber via the slotted holes and tighten the bolts.

After fitting, always have the wheel alignment checked and adjusted. A different camber also changes the toe-in, and a correct wheel alignment is needed for safe handling and even tyre wear. Work with a spring compressor and good tools.
