The BC Racing BR coilover kit 350Z (part number D-17-BR-RS) is a coilover kit adjustable in height and damping, also simply called a coilover, for the Nissan 350Z and Fairlady Z (Z33), model years 2003 to 2009. The spring rate is 9 kg/mm front and 8 kg/mm rear.

This is the standard version. Standard here means that the rear axle keeps the original layout: a separate spring and a separate damper, just as from the factory. If you want a complete strut with the spring around the damper at the rear, choose the True Rear version.

The BR series is the all-rounder from BC Racing. You drive it to work every day and take it to a track day or autocross without any worries. The Z33 is a heavy, powerful coupe with a lot of weight at the front, and this kit keeps that mass in check without the car becoming undriveably harsh.

The spring rate is 9/8 kg/mm and you set the damping in 30 clicks. You adjust the ride height via the damper body, independently of the spring preload, so you choose for yourself how low it goes.

Fitting and delivery

The kit replaces the original dampers and springs all round. We recommend having it fitted by an experienced mechanic. Always have the wheel alignment set after fitting, because camber and toe change at a lower ride height. The delivery time is 1 to 2 weeks as long as the manufacturer has stock.
