The BC Racing BR coilover kit Z3 offset (part number I-10-BR-RA) is a coilover kit adjustable in height and damping, also simply called a coilover, for the BMW Z3 with rear-wheel drive, including the Z3 M, model years 1996 to 2002. The spring rate is 5 kg/mm front and 8 kg/mm rear.

This version of the BR series is intended for a Z3 that has offset top mounts from the factory. Under the same part number, BC Racing also supplies a BR kit for the Z3 with central top mounts, so check which top mount is fitted to your car before ordering.

The BR is the all-round series from BC Racing: made for a car that is mainly driven on the road and occasionally does a track day or autocross. Monotube dampers with a linear piston, 30-click damping adjustment and a ride height that you set independently of the spring preload make the Z3 tighter and more direct without making it unusable for daily use.

Fitting and delivery

Before ordering, check whether your Z3 has offset or central top mounts: this kit is for the offset version. The kit is vehicle-specific and replaces the original dampers and springs. We recommend having it fitted by an experienced mechanic. On some cars the pillowball top mount at the front requires a small modification to the upper mounting; if in doubt, contact us. After adjusting the ride height, have the wheel alignment checked, because camber and toe change as well. The delivery time is 1 to 2 weeks as long as the manufacturer has stock. With a central top mount the damper rod sits in the middle, with an offset top mount it sits off-centre.
