Description
Nissan Z34 370Z Fairlady Z (08-20) BC Racing ER coilover kit 9/10 kg/mm
The BC Racing ER coilover kit 370Z (part number D-30-ER) is a coilover kit adjustable in height and damping, also simply called a coilover, for the Nissan 370Z and Fairlady Z (Z34), Coupe and Roadster, model years 2008 to 2020. The spring rate is 9 kg/mm front and 10 kg/mm rear.
With the ER series, BC Racing takes a step towards serious circuit and competition use. The damper is a monotube with dual piston and external reservoir, filled with fully synthetic oil with a very high viscosity index. You set compression and rebound independently of each other, each in 30 clicks, and the damping is digressive. The ride height is continuously adjustable via the damper body.
For the 370Z this is the standard ER: the spring and damper at the rear remain separate, as Nissan built the Z34. The True Rear version, with the spring at the rear around the damper, has its own BC Racing part number starting with D-121.
Key benefits
- 2-way adjustable: compression and rebound each in 30 clicks.
- External reservoir: with a dual piston in the monotube.
- Fully synthetic oil: with a very high viscosity index.
- Digressive damping: firm at slow body movements.
- Concave lock ring: holds the set height.
- Camber plates: rubber top mounts are optional.
- Standard rear layout: separate spring and damper as from the factory.
- 9/10 kg/mm: spring rate front and rear.
- Rebuildable: the dampers can be rebuilt.
Suitable for
Nissan 370Z and Fairlady Z (Z34), Coupe and Roadster, model years 2008 to 2020, in the standard version with separate spring and damper at the rear. Not the True Rear version; that has its own kits (D-121).
- Serious track days and club races
- Drivers who want to set compression and rebound separately
- A 370Z that is driven a lot on the circuit

Fitting and delivery
The ER kit is vehicle-specific and replaces the original dampers and springs of the 370Z. Preferably have it fitted by an experienced mechanic and have the wheel alignment set after setting the ride height. Start with both knobs in the middle and change one setting per session. The delivery time is 1 to 2 weeks as long as the manufacturer has stock. If the ER is temporarily unavailable at BC Racing, you can still order and we will tell you the delivery date.
The BC Racing ER for the Nissan 370Z (Z34) is 2-way adjustable, with 30 clicks for compression and 30 clicks for rebound, and has 9/10 kg/mm springs.
Why choose this ER coilover kit 370Z?
With a heavy car like the 370Z, on the circuit you want to be able to tune the compression and rebound movements independently of each other. The ER lets you do that: more compression for less dive under braking, more or less rebound for how quickly the car extends again. The external reservoir and the synthetic oil are made for circuit use.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between the BC Racing ER and ZX for the Nissan 370Z?
The ER is 2-way and the ZX 3-way. The ZX splits the compression into low speed (20 clicks) and high speed (12 clicks), alongside 30 clicks of rebound. For the standard 370Z both have 9/10 kg/mm.
Does the BC Racing ER for the 370Z fit the Coupe and the Roadster?
Yes. BC Racing lists the D-30-ER for the 370Z and Fairlady Z (Z34) from 2008 to 2020, and this applies to the Coupe and the Roadster. If in doubt, contact us.
Does the BC Racing ER coilover kit 370Z have a True Rear layout?
No. This ER coilover kit 370Z is the standard version, with a separate spring and damper at the rear. For a True Rear layout, BC Racing has separate kits with part numbers starting with D-121.
What is the delivery time of the BC Racing ER for the 370Z?
The delivery time is 1 to 2 weeks as long as the manufacturer has stock. If BC Racing briefly does not have it, you can still order it and we will let you know when it arrives.
