The BC Racing ER coilover kit BRZ ZD8 (part number F-36-ER) is a coilover kit adjustable in height and damping, also simply called a coilover, for the Subaru BRZ (ZD8) with rear-wheel drive, from model year 2022. The spring rate is 5 kg/mm front and 5 kg/mm rear.
With the ER series, BC Racing moves you up to 2-way adjustment: you control compression and rebound separately from each other, each with 30 clicks. The dual-piston monotube dampers have an external reservoir and a digressive characteristic. The kit is intended for a BRZ that is driven seriously on track or in competition.
BC Racing fills the ER dampers with fully synthetic oil with a very high viscosity index. The ride height is infinitely adjustable via the damper body and a concave lock ring holds it in place. Camber plates are fitted on suitable kits; rubber top mounts and a check valve are available as options.

Fitting and delivery
The kit is vehicle-specific and replaces the original dampers and springs. We recommend having it fitted by an experienced mechanic. After setting the ride height, have the wheel alignment checked, and note down your damping settings for each circuit so that you can return to them later. The delivery time is 1 to 2 weeks as long as the manufacturer has stock. If BC Racing cannot supply the kit straight away, you can still order and we will let you know the delivery date.
