The BC Racing ER coilover kit S15 (part number D-27-ER) is a coilover kit adjustable in height and damping, also simply called a coilover, for the Nissan Silvia and 200SX S15 with rear-wheel drive, model years 1999 to 2002. The spring rate is 10 kg/mm front and 8 kg/mm rear.

The ER series is made for serious circuit and competition use. For the S15 that means monotube dampers with a dual piston and an external reservoir, filled with fully synthetic oil with a very high viscosity index.

The big difference compared with the BR and DS: you set compression and rebound independently of each other, each in 30 clicks. This lets you tune the S15 precisely to the track, tyres and driving style. As standard, this kit comes with stiffer springs of 10 kg/mm front and 8 kg/mm rear.

Fitting and delivery

The kit is vehicle-specific and replaces the original dampers and springs. Preferably have it installed by a mechanic with experience of reservoir dampers and make sure the reservoirs are placed safely. After setting up, have the wheel alignment reset. The delivery time is 1 to 2 weeks as long as the manufacturer has stock. If BC Racing does not have it in stock, you can still order and we will tell you the delivery date.
