The BC Racing ER coilover kit Skyline R34 rear fork (part number D-18-ER) is a coilover kit adjustable in height and damping, also simply called a coilover, for the Nissan Skyline R34 GTS and GT-t with rear-wheel drive (ER34) and a rear fork mounting of the rear dampers, model years 1998 to 2001. The spring rate is 12 kg/mm front and 10 kg/mm rear.

This ER is for the R34 GTS that truly belongs on the circuit. BC Racing builds the ER series around a monotube with dual piston and external reservoir, filled with fully synthetic oil with a very high viscosity index. Compression and rebound each have their own knob with 30 clicks, the damping is digressive and you adjust the ride height continuously via the damper body.

The spring rate stands out: BC Racing supplies the ER for the rear fork version with 12 kg/mm front and 10 kg/mm rear, considerably stiffer than the 8/5 kg/mm of the BR, DS and ZX for this car. Also check the lower mounting of your rear dampers. This kit is for a fork, a U-shaped bracket. If your R34 has an eye with a through bolt there, you need the D-72-ER.

Fitting and delivery

The ER replaces the original dampers and springs of the R34 with rear fork dampers. Have an experienced mechanic install the kit and then have a wheel alignment carried out at the ride height you choose. For the first drive, set the damping to the middle of the range and then adjust one knob at a time. As long as the manufacturer has stock, the delivery time is 1 to 2 weeks. If it is out of stock, you can still order and we will let you know the delivery date.
